Stephen Samuelson designed this beautiful "organic" mansion in the California's nature for Smith family after they've seen his other houses designed for celebrities. Smith's house is easily describable. Different. It's different from what we've been used to see as houses.
When they started with planning the house they came to difficulties with permits. The area was kind of labyrinth of regulations. But they did it successfully. The house is inspired by the history of Persian, Moroccan, Spanish and Southwest American cultures. Smith's also had quite impressive collection of antique panels, doors and other details from Middle East, Africa and American Southwest. The front door were actually entry to a forth in northern India. Take a look!
