Our new home search took us all the way to South America. This wonderful modern home called Haack House, designed by 4D-Arquitetura is located in Guaiba, Brazil. It's nice example of how some good engineering can make house more interesting.
The house is built in 2010. At first sight, what you can notice about architecture here are straight lines, characteristic for modern architecture. The house is supported with 2 huge concrete plants in combination with steel girders. That way you can get big open space and forget about the walls. There are two main colors, white facade and brown color of wood giving an amazing sense of contrast.
